Till. to Ps. 119:121 עשינו עֲרֵבוּתֵינוּ עשהוכ׳ we have done what we were pledged to do, do thou now thy duty. Ex. R. s. 27 הכנסת עצמך לע׳ זו ליעשות ראש (not זה) thou hast made thyself enter this pledge, that thou mayest become the head (victor in the contest). Ib. ומה היתה עֲרֵבוּתָן and what was their pledge?
